Preparing For & Taking Care of Your Spray Tan

For best results, follow these pre- and post-care instructions:

Prepping for Your Luxury Tan:

  • Remove all previous tanning products from skin. ( need tips and tricks call us )
  • Shower at least 4 hours prior to your spray tan and do a cool rinse to allow your pores to close.
  • Shave and exfoliate prior to your visit. 24-48 hrs prior to appointment Remove all those dead skin cells to prep your skin.
  • Wax 48 hours before your spray tanning appointment.
  • Do not apply any lotions, deodorants, make up, oils or perfumes prior to your appointment.
  • Come with clean dry hair. Avoid washing hair on your first rinse.

Post Spray Tan:

  • Please follow your proper rinse timing. this can vary from solutions classic 8-12 express 2-6 this is very important for your tan. Leaving solutions on longer does not “make it last longer”
  • Rinse well until your shower water goes clear.
  • Your airbrush tan needs 24 hours to set. Avoid getting wet or sweating for the first 24 hours.
  • Wear dark, loose-fitting clothing and flip flops until your first shower.
  • Do not apply any makeup until after your first shower.
  • Do not use Dove, dial, Irish spring, Olay products or products with mineral oil.
  • If you forgot to shave prior to your spray tan, use a new razor to help your tan last.

Moisturize every time you shower with spray tan friendly products. Doing so will help your tan last longer.
